Every once and a while I tend to look through the internet search engines to find other informational websites that have to do with mountain biking. There are definitely some great websites out there. Being that I have a site of my own, I can relate to these people and/or companies that start up a website based on mountain biking. Most of us are in it to try and earn a little extra money or try an see how many visitors come to our site each day. But there is something that we tend to overlook when we are trying to create what we believe is that best mountain bike website on the internet.
I believe that as website creators and trying to compete against other people around the world to have the best informational website whether it's a blog, a forum or just a site that is based around selling mountain bikes and bike related items, there is something that we are doing without even thinking of. That is bringing mountain bikers to each of our websites so that they can learn more about their favorite sport. After all, once we get done with a long day of work as most of us work Monday through Friday and try to relax at night. A lot of us want to lay back in our desk chair, as we have the chair tilted back as we are secluded from the rest of the world.
Usually the first thing that we check once we get on the internet is our Facebook page and then our email accounts. But what is the next type of website after that? For some of us it could be those bike videos on YouTube, or see if our favorite online purchase is listed on eBay yet. Or could it be looking at the website that is run by the bike shop that we buy from the most? Ultimately most all of us are drawn into looking at a website that is based around our favorite sport. And for anyone reading this post, that sport would be mountain biking. Being that I have a website of my own and I look at other websites around this same subject matter, I realize that we are looking for basically the same thing on the internet. That being a site that offers loads of information having to do with our favorite activity. Now even though I look at other bike websites and I try to come up with better ideas for my site or get ideas from other major bike websites we as website creators are all in this for the same reason. To come up with a different way for our voice to be heard and get ideas from other people. So as I read the posts at some of the other blog type websites out there, I know that there is someone somewhere looking at the website that I have!
