- Increase the distance or speed a little every week. Ease into It.
- During the hottest months bike during the coldest parts of the day.
- Bring lots of food and water.
- Compete against yourself.
- Travel to interesting destinations.
- Check the hourly weather forecast for the temperature and the wind speed.
- Believe in yourself and don't listen to people that say you are crazy.
- Do it as a fun hobby.
